5 year old twins... EEEKKK

One kid is tough.
Two kids are harder.
One 5 year old is tough.
5 year old twins are harder.

So back in 2012 I baby sat my friend's 5 year old twin sisters for about 6ish hours. This was my first time babysitting a non-relative but I agreed because they didn't really have anyone else and they said they would pay me so then of course I was all over itJ. I had truly no idea what was expected of me but I went to the library and checked out a book on babysitting and that is how I got started. After reading a bit of it and looking ideas up online (I can't remember if I used Pinterest at this point, but if I could I probably did) I knew what I was going to do. My mom took me back to the library (I couldn't drive, I was only 14) and I returned the babysitting book and picked up a couple of picture books and a Cat in The Hat book to go with the Cat in The Hat craft I had. Going to their house I had everything planed and was completely ready and everything went super smooth, NOT! We blew through everything I had planned so fast, it was like I blinked and they said “What next Miss Brittney?” and I was searching through my bag and there was nothing left. That was scarier than the Twins. But I had a new plan that always worked with my brother when he was bored. Two words. Movie Marathon. It worked and luckily their mom came home not to long afterwards. The only downside to this was the amount I got paid but that's a story for another post. Here are pictures from the day I babysat the twins.

This is a fun thing to do, you get crepe paper or TP and you mummy wrap them and they have to break out, both kids loved it.

Making Cherio Necklaces, they got to snack on them the whole time we played games, it was a great and fun!

Cat in The Hat, hat crafts and pip cleaner flowers. The hats were white foam that I cut out and red foam stripes. The Flowers are pipe cleaners and coffee paper thingies... I don't know what they are called.

Pokadot paper plates, I used the bigger nuts or beans (forgive this was two years ago and I wrote nothing down) and we just glued them to the plate I thought it would be boring but they loved getting to work with glue and  making different designs.

Well, that's all for today's post, I'll do a more recent job soon. Thank you guys!
